Epilepsy and Women's Health

Epilepsy does not affect everyone the same way. Women living with epilepsy face a specific set of challenges that rarely get talked about openly. This event created a safe space for those conversations. We covered hormonal influences on seizures, what epilepsy means for pregnancy and family planning, and how stigma shows up differently for women in African communities. It was honest, it was necessary, and it was just the beginning.
